How to make the perfect Gimlet

A stroke of Gin genius! An exotic Gimlet is the perfect refreshment for a summer afternoon.

Made of ‘gin and juice’, the Gimlet is a simple drink that reaches back to the early 1900’s. Historically enjoyed throughout colonial various outposts in the Far East and South East Asia, it became the oriental equivalent to the Martini.

Here’s how to make the perfect summer Gimlet.

Ingredients

3 Parts Gordon’s Gin

1 Part lime cordial

1 Dash soda water

1 Slice of lemon

Juice of half a lime

Method

- Add the Gordon’s Gin to a shaker along with the lime cordial. Shake to combine.

- Pour into a cocktail glass over ice and top up with soda.

- Finish with a squeeze of fresh lime juice and garnish with a lime wedge to serve.

Drink and enjoy responsibly.
