The popular Netflix reality show that follows the lives of influential African personalities made an epic return and fans have thoughts
There’s a lot to unpack but Annie Idibia’s behaviour seems to be a cause for concern for may viewers who are questioning if her mental wellness is being overlooked.
Fans of the popular netflix reality show waited in anticipation for S3 to drop, and if the reactions on social media are anything to go by, the cast members didn’t disappoint.
The relationship dynamics between the influential group have always been complicated, and it seems this season is no different. Annie Idibia and Nadia Nakai are undoubtedly standing out this season with fans trying to make sense of their interactions. They’ve endured trauma publicly in the past so many fans have chalked their behaviour down to their past experiences. When it comes to Annie, however, fans are wondering if her outbursts could be a cry for help considering just how much public humiliation she has been subjected to at the hands of her husband “2 Baba” who was a regular feature on S2.
Relationships hold up a mirror and serve as a space for self reflection. And the saying, “check on your strong friends” has never been more true. In Annie Idibia’s case, it seems that sis has been carrying too much for too long. And we’re just here to ask, how are you, really? We’ll give you a moment to reflect on that. In the interim, these are just some of the reactions on ‘X’
Annie Idibia keeps searching for that 2baba she met before the fame, the money and the philandering. The earlier she accepts that, that person is gone and either make peace with it and stay or walk away from that marriage the better for her mental health.

I’m currently watching Young Famous and African & I’m wondering why Annie Idibia came back on this show instead of prioritizing her mental health by going to therapy and working towards healing. The toxicity among these people is insane. Nobody is innocent.

The continent needs to rally and rescue Annie Idibia from 2Baba. This will be a collective effort 😭![CDATA[]]>😭![CDATA[]]>😭... #YoungFamousAndAfrican pic.twitter.com/p2hTvmtVYb

Please get Annie Idibia off Young Famous and African, it’s not healthy for her and it’s not healthy for us the viewers either.

This is insane
Annie Idibia shouldn't be on Young, Famous and African.

She's bleeding on everyone & everything.
She needs to focus on healing. 💔
This show is not good for Annie Idibia’s mental health, this show is not good for Annie. I need Annie to take a break from everything, live and heal.

This is very unhealthy.
I wish mental health and therapy weren’t so stigmatized in African communities. It’s clear that Annie Idibia could benefit from cognitive behavioral therapy. She needs to leave that toxic husband and rediscover herself.

Annie Idibia clearly needs love and support and is met with unnecessary criticisms. Even the Nigerians on the show failed to support her.

Such a wicked world.
People are so insensitive it’s so sad to see.
Annie Idibia is really something. I just hope she can really heal because unknown to her, she's absorbed so much pain that it makes her behave how she wouldn't even be proud of. #yfa3
