The spotlight is back on with Season 3 of Netflix’s Young, Famous & African

Netflix dropped a spicy trailer for the third season of Young, Famous and African (YFA), revealing a tantalising glimpse into the drama, luxury, and chaos set to unfold on 17 January 2025 when the series launches. Eight episodes pull back the curtains on fractured marriages, fragile friendships and fresh connections. It all ends in premium tears.

Shaking up the ‘richest square mile in Africa,’ the new season introduces a fresh cast, including South African content creator Kefilwe Mabote, Nollywood superstar Ini Edo, and entrepreneur Shakib Lutaaya. They join returning fan favorites from across the continent: Zari "The Boss Lady" Hassan, Swanky Jerry, Annie Macaulay-Idibia, Diamond Platnumz, Naked DJ, Kayleigh Schwark, Fantana, Luis Munana, and Nadia Nakai. The season also features the return of a much-anticipated cast member.

The trailer had social media in a frenzy. Fans of the star-studded reality show flooded X (formerly Twitter), expressing their anticipation for the return of the popular series. In preparation for the third season, many users revisited previous seasons to refresh their memories. While some are excited for the luxury and new cast members, others are simply counting down the days to more drama and chaos.

Not only are fans of the show eagerly awaiting the new season, but they’re also raising some burning questions. After Netflix posted the trailer to their Instagram, fans quickly flooded the comments, curious about various details. However, one question stood out above the rest: Where’s Khanyi Mbau?

We’ll have to wait and see as old friends reconnect, and new faces join the YFA family, bringing more epic ups and downs than ever before.
