I fell in love with Isabel Marant’s hippy-inspired jewellery last season. Other designers have continued the trend, adding pom poms and tassels to just about everything from shoes to bags to belts.
Take inspiration from designer Aleishall Girard Maxon’s necklace, pictured here, and make your own haute hippy jewellery.
First, raid your mom or grandmother’s sewing basket for scraps of wool or thread to make a selection of pom poms and tassels. You can find instructions on how to do that right here.
Lastly, thread your pom poms and tassels onto a length of string. Tie the thread ends together and voila! Your own designer necklace.
