On 10 February 2016, GLAMOUR held our annual Valentine’s Dinner event at the beautiful Hyde Park Corner in Joburg, where we celebrated the month of love in true style.
While we sipped on welcome drinks – delicious cocktails courtesy of Rose’s – guests were taken on a romantic fragrance journey through Hyde Park Corner’s Cortina Court and pampered with beautiful express manis by FoxBox. We were then treated to a surprise performance by the Joburg Ballet Company who danced highlights from the ethereal ballet classic, Les Sylphides, to the exquisite music of Chopin.
After the performance, we were escorted across to the spectacular Life Grand Café for dinner. The incredible meal included some sensational (and unusual) elements such as grilled watermelon, Kataifi and parmesan crisp, and smoked cauliflower puree. The cherry on top of this taste sensation was the fabulous selection of desserts — and we seriously indulged!
