Millie Bobby Brown is no stranger to the mic. I mean, who could forget her epic performance of Nicki Minaj’s ‘Monster’ on The Tonight Show last year? This year, however, the Stranger Things star has upped her game (MAJORLY) as she returned to the show with her very own rap about the hit Netflix series.
Millie, 13, wowed both the crowd and host Jimmy Fallon (who acted as her hype man) as she performed a slick recap rap of Stranger Things season one. Taking flow inspiration from Cardi B’s hip-hop anthem ‘Bodak Yellow’, the young actress dropped some impressive bars as she summed up the show’s plot for fans. Oh, and then she dropped the mic, of course. LEGENDARY.
Watch her performance below…
Millie first appeared on The Tonight Show last year with her co-stars Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Finn Wolfhard, where she rapped an entire verse of Monster by Nicki Minaj.
You can skip to the magic at 4.15…
Earlier in the show, Jimmy and co acted in their own scene of Stranger Things in which they brought back the show’s unsung hero, Barb.
In the skit, in which Barb was played by The Tonight Show writer A.D. Miles and Jimmy played cool guy Steve Harrington, Barb asked the guys why they didn’t bother to rescue her from The Upside Down. Awks.
It’s totally hilarious so give it a watch here:
