Black Coffee is having a stellar year.
This past weekend, the award-winning DJ and music producer performed at the 2022 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California.
Earlier this month, he won his first Grammy Award for his album Subconsciously.
Now, the You Need Me hitaker lit up the Sahara stage at the two-weekend musical showcase on Friday night. He performed a 1-hour set alongside hip hop icons including Big Sean, Cordea, and Baby Keem.
On Twitter, the South African producer shared an image of him posing with his son at the festival, who also accompanied him to the Grammy’s earlier this month.
This marks the third time Black Coffee has performed at Coachella. The South African producer previously performed in 2018 and 2019.
However, Black Coffee is not the only South African artists to perfom this year. Next week, for round two of the festival, amapiano artists DBN Gogo and Major League will also be taking the stage.
After a two-year hiatus, fans are still loving his sets. See the video below for his high-energy performance.
