Victoria Beckham has been nominated for the Womenswear Designer prize at the British Fashion Awards 2015.
The former Spice Girls singer is up for the prestigious accolade, presented by the British Fashion Council, which has previously been handed to elite designers such as John Galliano and Alexander McQueen.
The 41-year-old fashion designer – who has won the event’s Brand award twice in 2011 and 2014 – was picked by 800 panellists who are key leaders in the industry.
Victoria – who is married to Victoria Beckham – will have stiff competition from rival designers Christopher Kane and J.W. Anderson.
Other nominees include Tom Ford who is up for both the Menswear Designer and Red Carpet gong and battling out for the Brand prize are labels Alexander McQueen, Anya Hindmarch, Burberry and Stella McCartney.
The winners will be announced at a star-studded ceremony held at the London Coliseum on November 23.
