Uncle Waffles is continuing her upward trajectory. The Swazi-born DJ took to the stage at Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California this past weekend, wowing the crowd with her mesmerizing stage presence.
Her performance marks the start of her USA tour and follows the announcement of her 2023 project “Asylum” being certified Gold just one week after its release.
Official videos of her Coachella set started trending on Twitter early Saturday morning in South Africa, as she delivered on the high-energy, choreography, and authentic Uncle Waffles experience we all know and love.
As the first Amapiano artist to perform on one of the main stages at the esteemed music festival, the Coachella crowd embraced her with open arms at the Sonara stage during her 9pm prime-time slot, right before headliner Bad Bunny closed off the night.
On Saturday, she was introduced as a surprise guest on the Do-Labs stage, enjoying a hyped reception from the crowd, and rounded off her weekend with a killer set at the Coachella after party at Zenyara.
Uncle Waffles will return to the festival this upcoming weekend. Her Project Asylum is now available on all streaming platforms.
