It’s the month of love and some of our fav star couples are truly making us swoon. It seems babies have been on the brain lately as there’s recently been an influx of gender reveals and baby announcements that have got the world excited.
A case in point: Rihanna and ASAP Rocky’s casual (yet explosive) stroll down the streets of New York, while locally, Ayanda Thabethe posted her aesthetic announcement after months of an under-the-radar relationship.

Rihanna and ASAP Rocky have been dating since 2020. Now, the singer is going to be a mom and she revealed her baby bump to the world in the most Riri way possible - wearing a vintage Chanel puffer jacket and bejewelled body chain around her belly.
Ayanda Thabethe
The model and TV presenter is expecting her first child. After being coy about her partner on social media for months, fans were shocked to hear of the star’s surprising baby news. She made the announcement via a beautifully shot video in which she poses atop of sand dunes in a white flowy dress. Frank Ocean’s Godspeed plays in the background while a snapshot of her partner’s hands cradling her belly make a sneak appearance.
Lindy Lin
Makeup artist and influencer Lindy Lin announced her pregnancy is an aesthetic fashion shoot with a moody beach and mountain backdrop. She looked gorgeous in a sheer ruffled gown by Adore Couture and she shared a with her partner with whom she tied the knot just over a year ago.
Jennifer Lawrence
The Hunger Games star, who took a step from the spotlight for a while, recently made headlines again when she walked the red carpet with a pregnant belly at the premier of her upcoming movie Don’t Look Up. The actress looked stunning in a sheer Dior floor-length gown. She and husband Cook Malroney tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2018.
Kylie Jenner
Kylie Jenner’s baby news has been keeping us on our toes for months. On Sunday 6 February, the star broke the internet (once again) when she comfirmed she has given birth to her second child. The baby, rumoured to be a boy (judging by the bue heart emoji) was born on 2 February 2022, just a day after older sister Stormi’s birthday, who turned four on 1st February.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez
Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez are expecting twins! The couple already share a daughter together, who was born in 2017, while Ronaldo has 11 year-old son Ronaldo Jnr and 5 year-old twins Eva and Matteo, whom he fathered using a surrogate mother.
Nomalanga Shozi
Actress, TV host and Radio DJ Nomalanga Shozi took to Instagram on Sunday 6 February to reveal she is pregnant with her first child. The media personality posted a series of steamy pics showing off her growing baby bump and posed as if she was on the cover of a magazine. ’Goodnews’ was the title, followed by the byline ’the hottest drop fo the year’. We’re loving the creativity!
While Shozi is major on social media, she tends to keep her personal life private. Details on her relationship status or the father of her child are unknown at this time. However, we wish the mom-to-be nothing but love and happiness during this exciting time!
