A local South African model’s dream to strut down one of the world’s most prestigious catwalks came true this past week. Neetasha Singh modelled at the Milan Fashion Week and described the experience as “surreal”. “This has been my dream since I was a little girl and I am proud of myself for seeing it through. Growing up, I always felt unrepresented because no one on international ramps looked like me. Now I hope to change that,” said Neetasha. Although Neetasha may look like just a pretty face she also has the brains to match, she is also a qualified accountant. Neetasha had the honour of representing London designer Chanel Joan Elkayam on the runway and showing off her autumn and winter collection.
We hope to see more of Neetasha on the international runways flying the South African flag high!
