Kelly Rowland has given birth to a baby boy. The 33-year-old star welcomed her first child with husband Tim Witherspoon into the world yesterday afternoon, her representative confirmed.
The pair have named their the little boy Titan Jewell, and he weighed in at 7.5lbs (about 3.4kg).
Kelly said, “We are thrilled to announce that today we are the proud parents of our first son.
“We are blessed to report everyone is healthy and happy!”
The former Destiny’s Child singer – who confirmed that she and Tim were expecting a boy earlier this year – has shown much excitement about the arrival of her first child throughout much of her pregnancy.
Speaking about naming her son, for whom she’s already bought a pair of mini Air Jordan trainers, she said previously: “The dad picked out the name. It had to do with family.”
Last month she posed for a number of nude photos, in which her growing baby bump was at its biggest. She said of the imminent arrival of baby Titan, “When the baby gets here, it’s not just one baby. I have two babies now. My husband and the baby – you have to take care of both.”
Kelly first announced she was pregnant in June, just one month after she and Tim tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Costa Rica.
