The 18th of July marks a very special day in South Africa. It is a day known as Mandela Day where we celebrate the great life of the father of our nation, the late Nelson Mandela. But it doesn’t end there, we also give 67 minutes of our time to help those in need. Yesterday people from all over the country and some in other parts of the world spent 67 minutes giving back in honour of the Madiba. Here’s a look at how some of our favourite celebrities spent their 67 minutes:
Couldn’t be in South Africa for #MandelaDay but with the help of @MalenahBapela, her mother and @neoclarker we were able to give out 67 school shoes to grade 1-3 learners in Mamelodi today #Shimza❤️🙏🏾 pic.twitter.com/7reFdaspEy
