She may be best known as part of the hit group Mafikizolo and owner of the record company Home Base, but Nhlanhla Nciza has always loved fashion. So what gives the stylish Nhlanhla confidence?
What inspires/drives you to succeed?
My family, especially my children inspire me to succeed and to always want to reach higher.
What makes you feel like a strong, GLAMOURous woman in your day-to-day life?
The way I carry myself, with respect and respecting others. I always try to look good every time I step out of my house and that gives me confidence.
Who is your woman of the year? Why?
My woman of the year is my mom, for the sacrifices she makes so that we are comfortable. She still remains an influential person in my life.
What’s the best career advice that you’ve ever received?
“If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life.” I found that to be very true, let your career or business be built on love and passion, that’s what will keep you inspired even when times are hard.
What was the defining moment in your career?
When I met our late president Tata Nelson Mandela, it does not get any more glorious than that.
