Belinda Davids is a 43-year-old top-class performer. Belinda is a single mother who juggles between her illustrious career and raising two boys. She comes from Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape and her powerful voice has made her an internationally acclaimed award-winning vocalist.
She tells GLAMOUR ‘she isn’t yet done.’
“
At heart, I am a woman from a small town with a big dream who started at a very young age-fighting and struggling for long to get where I am today. I am still not done yet, as I hope to achieve some bigger dreams that I have set for myself.”
The queen from the ‘windy city’ began her music career at a tender age and has never looked back since. She says her endless love for iconic Whitney Houston drove her towards her childhood dream.
“I was able to sing from a very young age, maybe at around 6 years old. My professional career started at the age of 14. I was mostly inspired by Whitney Houston. She was the voice that connected me to my dream. And when I did it, I made people happy by singing her music. Doing this, and from receiving great feedback, when I would sing on stage, encouraged me to keep going,” she said.

The talented PE vocalist says she would likely have to leave her current role with the The Greatest Love of All: A tribute to Whitney Houston show if she succeeds in her pursuit of clinching the BGT crown.
“It might be time to move away from it. I’m excited for the next part of my journey,” she said.
