GLAMOUR favourite and local PUMA brand ambassador, Nomzamo Mbatha had the priveledge of attending the AW16 FENTY PUMA by Rihanna runway show in New York on 12 February. Nomzamo shares her firsthand account of the show, her experience sitting front row and her thoughts on the collection.
“Attending my first New York Fashion Week and having the opportunity to sit front row, especially as a fellow ambassador for the fashion line being debuted, far superseded my dreams and expectations.
As the PUMA South Africa ambassador, the role affords me many rare and distinguished opportunities, and attending the FENTY PUMA by Rihanna exclusive NYFW show is one of them. The entire experience was exhilarating and first class. From walking the red carpet to being escorted to my seat, my PUMA experience was top notch.
I loved being in a room with influencers and public figures who were really fun, relaxed and cool! Although I was too shy to ask for a picture with Anna Wintour; Chris Rock and Rihanna’s family were really special.”

I loved the long figure-hugging maxi-dress with a white detail going down. It’s definitely going to be a best-seller! The pointy toe sneakers with low heel are killer! They showed in white, black and yellow allowing you to be bold and vibrant or classic and chic. The black pant all-in-one is sexy, stunning and bold. Definitely looking forward myself to wearing many of these amazing pieces!”
