Chloe Moretz has proved herself, at 19, a more principled and self-possessed woman than we are – she’s turned down an offer to be part of Taylor Swift’s squad.
Such an invitation would have had us squealing like excitable three-year-olds watching Frozen for the first time, but the idea of exclusive all-star girl gangs conflicts with Chloe’s principles, so she turned the invite down.
“They appropriate exclusivity. They’re cliques!” she said.
When asked if Taylor has invited her to join her squad, which includes Selena Gomez, Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner, she said “yes”, but refused to say more.
“She’s a very talented person,” she replied.
