Local media darlings Bonang Matheba and Nomzamo Mbatha were representing SA at Global Citizen Festival in New York City this weekend.
The 24-hour concert began on Saturday 25 September and took place on the Great Lawn in New York’s Central Park.
Nomzamo and Bonang, who both serve as Global Citizen ambassadors, lent their hosting talents to the event.
According to reports, the concert was held in an effort to raise awareness about climate change, vaccine equality and famine.
Both ladies looked incredible on the night, with Nomzamo opting for a bold mustard-coloured corset top and matching robe by Johannesburg-based brand Willet Designs Couture. She paired the look with black leather pants and heels, while Bonang made a statement in the colour of the moment - lime green - with a three-piece set by designer LaQuan Smith.
Other acts at the event included Sho Madjozi, Doja Cat, Billie Eilish, Camilla Cabelo, Ed Sheeran, The Black Eyed Peas, Davido, Tiwa Savage and Lizzo.
