The MTV Video Music Awards took place last night - and as always, it was one of our favourite award shows of the year. Not only is it playful and fun, it also conjures up nostalgia for our favourite childhood pop stars and anthems.
This year, the show was jam packed with A-list celebrity appearances on the red carpet, as well as a major lineup of performances from the likes of Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, Normani, Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X, and more.
Taking place at the Barclays Centre in New York City, the stars were eager to get out and show out in colourful, daring, and slightly risque fashion choices - just as they should. We even got to see some local flavour as queen Bonang Matheba was in attendance wearing a Dolce & Gabbana number.
