The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala is fashion’s biggest night out. This year, the annual fundraising gala was held in celebration of the opening of the exhibition, Rei Kawakubo/Commes des Garçons: The Art of the In-Between. The handful of guests that came dressed according to the theme didn’t disappoint with their elaborate and flamboyant designs – and a round of applause must go to Rihanna, who shut it down, yet again.
