CHANEL has announced Ugandan-Canadian actress Whitney Peak as the new face of the COCO MADEMOISELLE fragrance. The 20 year-old is best known as one of the leads in the reboot of the Gossip Girl series , and also starred as the lead in Hocus Pocus 2 by Anne Fletcher which was released on Disney+ end of September. This year, she is set to film three movies, all still confidential.
Whitney is stepping into the shoes of actress Keira Knightley who has been the face of the fragrance for 16 years, representing a new and exciting dawn for COCO MADEMOISELLE.
The relationship Whitney has developed with CHANEL has evolved over the years, with Whitney as the brand ambassador for the US market, then muse of the 22 handbag campaign, and now as the new face of the COCO MADEMOISELLE fragrance.
Whitney’s joy, spirit, and energy are contagious and she is the embodiment of today’s youth whose curiosity, confidence in life, appetite for experiences and lack preconceptions echo the temperament of the young Coco Chanel.
