We may know all the self-care steps to take in order to maintain our natural glow but sometimes a little reminder doesnโt hurt.
Glamour caught up with Hayley Richards, professional makeup artist, co-founder of A&H Pro Make-up Services and super mom who shared a few ways she maintains her flawless glow on the daily.
Hydrate
Water intake has a significant impact on our health, and it shows on our skin.

Sweat it out
โNow that I've been exercising again, I've been running, the glow is even better. Sweating is good for your skin, a beautiful side effect of something kinda gross right?
โWhat's even more awesome is I work out straight after work, wearing Ms London mineral makeup. Itโs safe because it's clean makeup that doesn't clog your pores and contains natural sun protection.โ
โIt's still important to shower and cleanse shortly after a workout to reduce the amount of impurities that could be re-absorbed by the skinโ
Sleep on silk
Hayley shared that people often don't realise what they are doing to their skin while sleeping, especially regarding the condition of their pillowcase.

Try a cold shower
โA definite Hayley-tip, which I do religiously in the morning at the end of my shower, is to turn off the warm water and give my body and skin that splash/shock of cold water. I learnt this from my dad and do it despite the weather! The cold water benefits your skin, hair and metabolism resulting in a healthy glow. That's my thing!โ
Get some vitamin C in
Thereโs so much more to it than the immune-boosting properties.
