Rihanna saw the mob-wife aesthetic trend and raised everyone a full Carmela Soprano. For a visit with French president Emmanuel Macron in Paris, Rihanna—accompanied by her partner, A$AP Rocky—styled her hair in a platinum blonde mob-wife bob, complete with a teased little swoop at her hairline.
With hair that on point, RiRi really had no choice but to follow through with the rest of the look. The Fenty founder also wore bold statement earrings and a belted black leather trench over her knee-length pencil skirt. The sheer black tights and pointed-toe pumps are very ladylike, but no mob-wife look would be complete without that little bit of extra bling, so Rihanna added a flashy diamond anklet.
A$AP Rocky, for his part, looked dapper in his own black leather trench. The rapper also wore a white shirt and tie under a tan sweater, which was embellished with some kind of jewels at the collar.
I couldn't tell you what business Rihanna had with Macron on this visit, only that it's not her first time meeting with the French president. In 2017 she met with Macron to discuss his country's funding of international education, per People, and again in 2018 for a conference in Dakar, Senegal.
Mob wife, pop superstar, entrepreneur, global ambassador for children's education…Rihanna is always all business.
