There was no shortage of glamour on the BAFTA red carpet with Britain and Hollywood's top talent spotlighting the best BAFTAs 2025 beauty looks.
Often a barometer of the best beauty looks for the season ahead, the night's makeup leaned heavily on monochromatic moments. Monica Barbaro and Hannah Dodd opted for delicate swathes of rose on the eyes, cheeks and lips, while Camila Cabello's copper hues tied her look together.
Scribbles of inky black eyeliner also reigned supreme, whether it was a ring around the eyes as seen on Mikey Madison or worn as cat-eye flick – a shape favoured by Ariana Grande and Nico Parker.
There was also plenty of nude lipstick, with Selena Gomez making a case for soft peach lips – prepare to see variations on this hue everywhere in spring. All of which made Sarel Madziya's latex cherry lips and Saoirse Ronan's slash of crimson even more striking.
Slicked-back buns predictably stole the show with Molly-Mae Hague, Marisa Abela and Wunmi Mosaku co-signing the look. But the gong for best hair of the night? It's a close fight between Gwendoline Christie with her hauntingly beautiful, goth-inspired micro braids, and India Ria Amarteifio's regal, crown-like braid.
And that was just a few of the standout hair and makeup moments of the night. Keep scrolling for more of the best BAFTAs 2025 beauty looks.
Wearing a dress with a peek-a-boo bra detail and dripping in sequins, Selena Gomez just proved that classic beauty never goes out of style. With her flicked-out bob pulled neatly into a slicked-back bun, a simple wash of taupe eyeshadow graced her lids and a soft puff of pink blusher brought a delicate flush to her cheeks. An exaggerated cat-eye flick and the perfect shade of deep peach lipstick were the finishing touches to her look.
The braided bob. The pitch perfect red lip. The next-level glow to her skin. Lupita Nyong'o's BAFTAs 2025 beauty look was pure perfection.
It wasn't just Ariana Grande's puffy pink skirt and plunging black velvet bodice that set the red carpet alight. Her hair was swept into a sleek bun, held with a black ribbon, while her trademark inky cat-eye flick and Glinda pink eyeshadow looked equally glamorous.
Zoe Saldana's shoulder-skimming, barrel waves accentuated the finely spun caramel highlights in her hair - tones also mirrored in her choice of eyeshadow. One word: stunning.
The crisp lines of Saoirse Ronan's crimson lip stood in striking contrast to her soft, mint-coloured gown. Proof that opposites really do attract when it comes to colour theory.
When is an updo not simply an updo? When India Amarteifio steps onto the red carpet. Giving serious Queen Charlotte vibes, this regal, crown-like braid took method-dressing to a whole new level.
Pamela Anderson stepped away from big hair to embrace soft, face-framing layers. Her skin looked fresh with no makeup – bar a swipe of pinky peach lipgloss.
Aj Odudu looked like she was channelling a '90s supermodel with a hooded white dress and glossy nude makeup that made her skin sing.
Marisa Abela's wet-look bun perfectly complemented her dewy complexion. A chocolate smoky eye, with an exaggerated wing, and defined brows completed the pared-back look.
A slash of black liquid eyeliner added just the right amount of edge to Stacy Martin's otherwise pretty rose coded makeup look and half-up, half-down hair.
Sarel Madziya embraced Old Hollywood style with a flicked-out bob and kiss-curl fringe. But it's her latex cherry lip that we just can't stop staring at – or admiring.
Hannah Dodd's brief must surely have been nude makeup with a high gloss finish and fluffed up brows. Her soft rose cheeks popped with a glass-like highlighter, giving her whole look a fresh-faced, almost ethereal feel.
Wearing her long hair in her signature sleek, centre-parted style, Demi Moore picked out the silver and pewter in her intricate sequin gown for her eye makeup, while soft pink characterised her blusher and lipstick courtesy of Charlotte Tilbury's Beautiful Skin Island Glow Lip and Cheek in Paradise Pink Glow.
Wunmi Mosaku added interest to her updo with an intricately braided bun with a section of fringe tucked nonchalantly behind her ear.
Kelly Rutherford kept things simple but elegant with one defining beauty feature: a dramatic black cat-eye flick.
Naomi Ackie accentuated her killer cheekbones with a flush of bright pink while her centre-parted, straight hair was left tumbling over her shoulders to reveal a pewter, sequinned one-shoulder gown.
Mikey Madison looked like she was dipping her big toe into the glam goth bridal trend with her ringed black eyeliner, muted nude lips and soft barrel burls tumbling over the corset of her strapless white dress.
Vanessa Williams' gravity-defying updo and smoky eyes were the makeup and hair equivalent of shoulder pads and power dressing.
Wearing her braids swept off her face, Letitia Wright's soft halo of metallic eyeshadow and burgundy blusher were the only accessories her stunning burgundy gown needed.
Nico Parker brought a touch of '20s flapper girl to the proceedings with her vintage hairstyle and soft peachy makeup.
Annabelle Wallis looked every inch the starlet with her honey blonde, wavy hair pulled into a half-up, half-down style and a few loose strands escaping around her face.
Meghann Fahy is a girl after our own hearts with her hair pulled casually into a half-up ponytail and muted pastel hues serving up expertly executed ‘no makeup’ makeup.
