In news that will no doubt delight the indecisive amongst you, the ones who waver between three shades at every nail appointment, the ones who keep your manicurist sweating with every last-minute change of heart, spring's most popular nail trend is, well, all of them.
L.A based nail technician Betina Goldstein was one of the first to herald the arrival of the trend, with slightly-gradient inspired manicures appearing on her Instagram.

Likewise, London manicurist Kate Williamson turned up the volume a little more with a full rainbow effect.

Both Jeremy Scott and Vivienne Westwood experimented with sophisticated nail art for the spring season - think a halo of colour sketched around an otherwise nude nail, while pops of bold, nearly neon colour were spotted at Tibi.
If you're keen to experiment with "considered clashing" as it were, take your cues from nail salons NAF, Townhouse or DryBy, who all have mastered slightly mismatched nail art. Instead of looking accidental, the end result is whimsical and playful, but still distinctly modern.
