The multi-hyphenate changed it up and ditched her mullet completely for the latest Savage x Fenty campaign.
Rihanna is a lot of things: a singer, an actor, the founder and owner of multiple blockbuster businesses, a lingerie designer, the list goes on. Her résumé is an impressive one already, but she definitely seems to be focusing on one title in particular lately: hair icon. On March 1, Rihanna revealed a new campaign for her intimates brand, Savage x Fenty, featuring herself as a model with a wildly different hairstyle than what we expected, given her most recent hairstyles.
Though Rihanna recently got a mullet haircut — and is still rolling with it as her posts suggest — the new campaign features her with waist-length hair, soft layers, and curtain bangs that fall at her lash line. In other words, she looks wildly different than we've seen, even as recently as a few days ago.
Though we'd like to think that Rihanna possesses some kind of strange hair-growth superpower (if she had a comic book origin story, she would've had some strange accident at a B vitamin supplement factory), we know that's not actually the case. There are a few possibilities as to how Rihanna could have pulled off this crazy-quick transformation, but it's likely the work of a beautiful wig (as Rihanna and other celebrities frequently wear for special campaigns and events such as this one).
Whatever the hairstyle, cut, or color, I'm pretty sure everyone will agree when we say that this woman always looks damn incredible.
