We were privileged to be the only publication in South Africa chosen to go on a trip to Zanzibar for a few days with leading luxury beauty house Lancôme, accompanied by Netflix’s Blood & Water star Khosi Ngema, content creators from Kenya and Nigeria and ThisDay Style. Each pillar was married with brand education, even a reproduction of a crew dance, masterclasses and a brand story.

We started our morning at sunrise with a yoga session to open our core. It was the ideal way to uncover and understand the skin’s microbiome is vital for its health. We each served as a muse to the brand’s National Makeup Artist and Retail Education Manager David Sharp, who created bold looks with one-of-a-kind makeup advice and tips to ensure we had the best long-wear routine.
