Are you done with straighteners and relaxers? If you’re wanting to transition back to your roots (minus the damage), then these tips will help restore your curls.
Drip dry
Touching wet hair – either with your fingers or a towel – will affect the texture of your curls. Rather drip dry your strands or use a diffuser, and hang your hair directly into the heat so you don’t touch it.
Cut it
We know you’re trying to grow it out, but it’s important to have regular trims every four to six weeks to keep your hair healthy.
Always cleanse
Some natural hair can just be c0-washed – washed with conditioner alone. But if you use lots of styling products, you really should detox your hair by washing those curls once a week with a shampoo.
