GLAMOUR chats to the Dr. to understand more about the procedures and Femilift.

What is FemiLift?

Femilift is a non-surgical, quick and safe solution for various common feminine issues, such as Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI), vaginal laxity, dryness, and recurring infections. It’s an easy and minimally invasive treatment that can solve numerous feminine issues, fast.

How do I know if FemiLift can help me?

Due to the aging process and childbirth, vaginal tissue can change and lead to a variety of uncomfortable symptoms, including vaginal looseness,  pain due to dryness and itching.  If you are suffering from one or more of these indications, FemiLift can probably help you.

How long does the treatment take? How long before I will be able to resume my normal routine?

A typical treatment takes under 30 minutes, depending on the case. You should be able to resume your normal activities right after the treatment. Three treatments are required a month apart. There is no downtime.

Are there any short or long term side effects or risks I should know about?

FemiLift is completely safe and causes no side effects.

Is the treatment painful?

Absolutely not. It is a minimally invasive laser treatment, and does not hurt. It is less comfortable than doing a PAP smear.

Is FemiLift suitable for women of all ages, or is there a minimum/maximum age requirement?

Yes, it is suitable for women of all ages.

How is the treatment conducted? How long before any results are achieved?

The treatment is conducted by a physician, who inserts a hygienic probe into the vagina, targeting the designated area with a laser. A standard treatment takes less than 30 minutes. Optimum results are usually achieved after completing the course of three therapy sessions.
