Zoë Kravitz has stepped into (or onto) the director's chair for the first time with mystery thriller Blink Twice – originally named Pussy Island –and it looks like a movie that shouldn't be missed.
It stars her partner Channing Tatum, as well as The End of the F***ing World star Naomi Ackie. In an interview with Extra TV, Channing opened up about making the movie with Zoë and how it “cemented” their relationship. "Working with your partner… I know a lot of people are afraid of it, [but] it was the thing that cemented us, in a way," he said.
"It just brought us together. Creating and movies in general… we just wake up every day and figure out how to create our life, and when you can create with someone“. Zoë also co-wrote the screenplay for Blink Twice with writer E.T. Feigenbaum, who also wrote for TV series High Fidelity, which she starred in.
We can't wait to see what she's created – here's what we know about the film so far.
Blink Twice plot
The movie's plot synopsis reads as follows: “When tech billionaire Slater King (Tatum) meets cocktail waitress Frida (Ackie) at his fundraising gala, he invites her to join him and his friends for a dream vacation on his private island.
"Wild nights soon blend into sun-soaked days, but when strange things start to happen, Frida must uncover the truth if she hopes to make it out alive.”
Blink Twice cast
