Cape Town is known for its picturesque beaches - and with that, a host of trendy, stylish and vibrant seaside spots. Summer saw the launch of trendy and chic Cabo Beach which is fast becoming the hottest beach club and restuarant.
Known as a laid back yet upscale day-to-night venue, Cabo Beach Club is where fine-dining and fun collide, with breathtaking sea views to match.
The Glamour SA team recently visited Cabo Beach for a scrumptious 3 course lunch paired with yummy cocktails. We enjoyed fresh oysters upon arrival and a combination of fresh seafood and meat. Seated on the beach side , the seaside views are calming and compliment the variety of contemporary cuisine.
Featuring eclectic decor including plush textures, such as faux fur sofas, velvet couches and opulent rugs…which make for the perfect Instagram photo background, the space is beautiful from all angles.
The open plan layout makes it ideal for large group celebrations, while the cosy interior means you can still enjoy an intimate date night or a date with your besties. During the day, it’s a family-friendly affair and the evenings are for good music and vibes.
The poolside area is another Cabo highlight where you can enjoy your meal and drink while lounging on a beachside daybed while soaking up the blazing African sun…you are also welcomed to swim should you wish.
For a casual dining option, Cabo Beach Club offers sushi, pizzas, burgers, and more. During our Glamour team meeting, we were spoiled with a specialty a la carte menu including a Burrata Salad and Thai Green Steamed Mussels to start, Mozambican prawns as a main event and Creme brulee or Strawberry Eton Mess for dessert.
I opted for the Burrata salad to start (the cheese was heavenly) followed by a fire roasted tofu salad as a main, and the Eton Mess to round off with something sweet.
The final verdict? Cabo Beach Club is an adaptable space for business or pleasure. If you’re looking for comfort with good food, entertainment, and an abundance of aesthetic photo-ops, you won’t be disappointed by this revamped, trendy seaside spot.
