On June 3, 2024, Netflix officially unveiled the full-length trailer for Part 2 of Bridgerton Season 3, teasing romance and chaos galore. While Polin seems to be enjoying their steamy romance and the Bridgerton family seems on board with their betrothal, Penelope's secret is threatening to turn their honeymoon stage upside down—largely due to Eloise's insistence.
Ahead of the premiere of Part 2 of Bridgerton season 3, Shonda Rhimes stopped by the Today show and teased what's on the horizon for Polin, admitting that, despite all the chaos that is surely about to ensue, the series finale actually moved her to tears, which is a rare feat.
When asked to reveal more information about the last four episodes of season 3, Rhimes remained tight-lipped, admitting the cast and crew are “very secretive” about the progression of the show before giving away some details about what's to come. "I will say it is sexy and surprising in many ways,” she revealed. “And also, I cried at the end. I found it very moving — and I don’t always cry. So I really got into it. I think it’s a beautiful story.”
Rhimes is not the only person involved in Bridgerton who has high hopes for the latter half of season 3, either. Nicola Coughlan, this season's leading lady, admitted to The Hollywood Reporter that episodes 5 and 6 of Bridgerton season 3 are actually her favorites. “I love when [Colin and Penelope] are in that giddy, giddy time, and they’re so in love," she confessed. "Because that’s the thing, some of the best things in this show are when you see people truly in love with one another, so blissfully happy.”
Well, is it June 13 already?
