Sex/Life on Netflix makes 50 Shades look vanilla as hell – no wonder everyone is obsessed

Here's what we know about season 2 of this raunch fest.

Yes, it is basically soft porn. And no, we're not mad about it.

Sex/Life season 1 spoilers ahead (as if you haven't already binge-watched the whole thing).

If you've been on Netflix this week (don't pretend you haven't), you'll have noticed a show called Sex/Life dominating the top spot on the homepage since it dropped on 25th June. If you're anything like us (and the whole of social media), you were intrigued straight away and have probably already binge-watched the whole thing.

Inspired by BB Easton's novel 44 Chapters About 4 Men, the show follows bored suburban mum of two Billie (Sarah Shahi) who takes a sexually-charged trip down memory lane, yearning for the seriously hot sex of her youth, particularly with former lover (Adam Demos). Billie starts writing down her experiences in her diary but then her husband Cooper (Mike Vogel) finds it, and their lives are turned completely upside-down.

As you've probably guessed, it's pretty raunchy. And with an absolute belter of a finale, fans are wondering when we'll be getting the next instalment of Sex/Life.

Here's what we know about a potential season 2...

What would season 2 of Sex/Life be about?

Sex. Obviously.

But also Billie's marriage to Cooper and her overwhelming attraction to Brad. Eight years since they split, Billie and Brad still have undeniable sexual chemistry, unlike anything she's experienced with another. Billie desperately wants her relationship with Cooper to work, but when he tries to spice up their sex life, all she can think about is – yep, you guessed it – Brad.

There is definitely potential for a second season, as the first ended with Billie telling Brad that she wasn't going to leave Cooper, but also wanted to bone him. Talk about a sticky situation (sorry).

Who will be in it?

If we get a second season, we can expect the main cast to return. That's Billie (Sarah Shahi), Brad (Adam Demos), Cooper (Mike Vogel) and Sasha (Margaret Odette).

When's it out?

Netflix hasn't said anything of a potential season 2 yet. But the show is currently ranking number one in the UK, so we wouldn't be surprised if the streaming giant commissions a second season.

If they do, chances are it won't arrive until next year. But we'll keep you posted when we hear more.

In the meantime, here's the season 1 trailer. You know, just for a little spice.
