Mbali Sebapu, is an entrepreneur that is making waves across Africa, and she comes from Soshanguve, a small town north of Tshwane.
She is popularly known by her Instagram handle @gorgeous_mbali, and is a business mogul in the making who founded three highly successful businesses, Hermosa Flor, Angela Jewellery, and Mariana Agency.
Gorgeous Mbali started her career in the South African National Defense Force (SA Navy), but as soon as her “influencer“ career started to flourish she left the military to pursue a field that she was more passionate about.
To date, Mbali has a digital audience of more than 450k followers.
The renowned business woman had a sit down with Lebo Lion SA to share three tips on how to successfully build an empire.
Here are the 3 tips below:
“Research – Look at other people who are in the industry. Study them and see what they are doing, that will help you a lot.
“Believe in yourself - If you don’t someone will come along and tell you this is not going to work, as a result, you will leave everything as it is. And you will never know if it was ever going to workout or not.
“Find a mentor - to help you when you are facing challenges in and also understand that where you come from doesn’t define you. You can do anything and be anything, just focus on that. ”
