Mother’s Day is a special day to celebrate the incredible women in our lives that have shaped and moulded us. Gifting for her can be quite tricky so I have curated a list of things that are on my radar, since I am a Mother of two boys myself. We know that our partners and kids often need some help and guidance when it comes to gifting, so here is a Gift Guide to point them in the right direction.

Something that I have been coveting for a while is a black faux leather trench coat. The best thing about this piece is the versatility of it. It can be paired with anything in your wardrobe and it instantly elevates your look. Zara has an amazing option which i love.
Perfume is a great gift for anyone but especially more of a treat for Mom’s as we rarely indulge ourselves which makes this a definite winner. On my radar is Maison Francis Kurkdjian Féminin Pluriel Eau de Parfum or Maison Francis Kurkdjian Gentle Fluidity Silver Edition Eau de Parfum. Nothing says I Love you like an expensive bottle of perfume.
With colder days upon us we need shoes to help combat the wet as well as the cold weather. My faves are the Ugg classic ultra mini platform shoe with the Ugg plush wool blend for absolute comfort and the Hunter play boot short, which are 100% waterproof and they come in a cute pink colour but I prefer the black as they are more versatile.
If your budget is slightly limited and Mom enjoys an alcoholic beverage you cannot go wrong with a bottle of bubbly, gin or a wonderful Chardonnay paired with a delicious box of Lindt chocolate for a self indulgent “me day”. Make sure you treat her to a delicious lunch that she did not prepare and the kids are well behaved and kept as far away from Mom as possible. For those few hours we will pretend we are single and carefree.
Handbags are an easy accessory to complete your outfit and if you’re treating your mom to a special Mothers Day lunch a new handbag is perfect. Guess has a white clutch that I've been obsessed with for the longest time. You will find it, as well as a few other options at the Destinations by Fraser store at the V&A Waterfront.
