You obviously would not want to miss the second installment of the UMI Feel Good Series, Our Music festival taking place at Victoria Yards in Johannesburg on Saturday, February 29.
The event’s organiser Nandi Dlepu AKA Mamakashaka said; “With UMI we take the ethos of our Feel-Good Series events and we up the ante!”
The show features live performances by Bongeziwe Mabandla, The Charles Gene Suite, Lazarus Man, ByLwansta and Koeksista with music from DJs Ang, Uncle Party Time, Slice Frederico and more.

Doors open at noon and the party ends at midnight.
UMI: Our Music Festival is “A micro music and lifestyle festival that will be hosted at Victoria Yards, transforming the space into a creative funhouse of music, film & art. As a special feature of the micro-festival, and following the community-oriented philosophy behind ‘our’ music festival, our audience got the opportunity to ‘Curate our line up’ by recommending who they’d like to see perform making it truly a festival for the by people and by the people.”

After 4 years of bringing good food, good music and good people together through THE WKND SOCIAL, Johannesburg’s’ much-loved brunch cum day party series, Mamakashaka launched FEEL GOOD SERIES, a monthly rooftop party and platforming for emerging DJ’s and live performances that has featured Muzi, Berita, Msaki, Darkie Fiction and many other breakthrough artists. In 2019 Mamakashaka started Feel Good Series presents UMI: Our Music Festival.
