The Coconut Margarita

A tropical vacation for your tastebuds. This recipe is from Santo Spirits. It is a light and tropical cocktail with coconut crème and lime juice.

Ingredients

50ml Santo Reposado

15ml Cointreau

25ml Coconut Cream

25ml Lime Juice

25ml Simple Syrup

Ice

Method

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice add, tequila, Cointreau, coconut cream, lime juice and simple syrup.

Shake for 30 seconds.

Strain into a glass filled with ice.

Sunset Sensation

This smooth and refreshing cocktail from Cape Town Gin is best paired with seafood canapés and jazz music.

Ingredients

25 ml Cape Town Pink Lady Gin

5ml Strawberry liqueur

15ml Squeezed lime juice

3 Strawberries (cut into pieces)

2 Fresh basil leaves

Soda water

Ice

Method

Combine all ingredients in a tall glass packed with ice and stir well. Garnish with a slice of orange and a sprig of fresh mint.

Rum Punch

This Rum Punch recipe from Angostura is perfect for a summer day and simple to make.

Ingredients

60mL dark rum

½ a lime’s juice

A splash of pineapple juice

A splash of grapefruit juice

2 dashes of Angostura aromatic bitters

Your choice of Carbonated/Tonic Water

Grated nutmeg and cherry as a garnish

Method

Add the rum, lime, pineapple and grapefruit juice, and the bitters into a shaker with ice and shake well until chilled. Pour the contents into a highball glass, top up with carbonated water and garnish.

Ingredients

100% Grapefruit Juice

100% Orange Juice

Agave Syrup

50ml X by Glenmorangie

25ml 100% Grapefruit Juice

25ml 100% Orange Juice

10ml Agave Syrup

Method

Fill a highball glass with crushed ice. Add X by Glenmorangie grapefruit juice, orange juice and agave syrup. Stir and garnish with half a grapefruit wheel.
