Fans react to Bonang’s unexpected exit from Young, Famous & African

Media personality, Bonang Matheba affectionately known as “Queen B” left fans confused after her abrupt exit on Season 2 of the highly anticipated reality show, Young, Famous & African.

It’s no secret that media personality, Bonang Matheba is loved by South Africans and has a loyal following. It’s no wonder that the news of the reality star joining the Young, Famous & African line-up as part of a star-studded cast, was well received, and fans couldn’t wait for her debut.

“Queen B” herself, shared in on the excitement on Twitter as fans waited for the new season to drop. And the social streets were abuzz on Friday when fan faves finally pulled up to Diamond’s party on the first episode. What we were never ready for is the cold reception from the other cast members, mainly Khanyi Mbau and Nadia Nakai. Understandably, Bonang was touched, and Khanyi took it a step further by excluding her from her ‘Masks and Champagne’ event.

Ghanaian musician, Fantana thought it would be a brilliant idea to host the ladies in a more artistic setting, inviting them to connect with their inner Picasso. This seemed to have worked as there were no sparks flying but the Zen moment was short-lived.

Things took a left turn when Bonang had a fallout with Namibian TV producer and entrepreneur, Luis Munana at an intimate dinner. The situation went from zero to a hundred real quick and fans were left scrambling for answers. What is clear though, is that tweeps are divided, and some have even dropped receipts to prove that our queen may have overreacted. Yikes!
