Now in it’s second year, the Veuve Clicquot Polo Brunch Series returns once again by popular demand.
If you’ve got a penchant for style, you should definitely consider an outing to this exclusive event taking place at the Val de Vie Estate in Paarl - because nothing says chic summer like watching polo ponies, sipping champagne and enjoying a relaxed weekend brunch with friends.
Guests can expect chilled Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label, gourmet brunch offerings, upbeat tunes and of course, fast-paced polo.
You’ll find yourself, glass in hand, on the viewing terrace observing one of the world’s oldest and most enthralling team sports.
With the theme Retro Chic, this year’s Veuve Clicquot event draws on fashion, design and luxury from decades past, in celebration of a love for retro aesthetics, and the joyous memories and emotions that come with it.
Surrounded by three majestic mountain ranges, Val de Vie Estate falls within the verdant Paarl-Franschhoek Valley, where the natural splendour of the Cape Floral Kingdom forms an idyllic backdrop to one of the most spectacular polo venues in the world.
Set in the heart of the picturesque Cape Winelands, life on the estate is unrivalled elsewhere in Africa. Translated from French, Val de Vie means ‘Valley of Life’ and the location has fast become a sought-after lifestyle destination in the Cape winelands.
This summer, on selected dates running from January to April, locals and visitors alike are invited to dress in Retro Polo chic to paint their weekend yellow by heading to the winelands to wine, dine and toast to exceptional horsemanship, complete with picture perfect views and of course, Veuve Clicquot champagne.

Enjoy a sumptuous selection of starters and desserts from the brunch offering, as well as a choice from the à la carte menu such as gourmet Croque Madame or Croissant Benedict, served with a chilled glass of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label, overlooking the polo field set against the majestic Paarl-Franschhoek mountains. So Clicquot! Free-flowing Terrace Brunch
This brunch offers all the same gourmet delights as the terrace brunch (you’ll enjoy a selection of starters and desserts as well as a dish from the à la carte menu) - but also includes free-flowing Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label during your brunch experience, served by the glass. R1495 per person.
