As we enter a new decade, we're all on the lookout for ways to improve our lives, whether it's drinking more water, eating healthier, getting abs, or just generally smashing every life goal you’ve ever had. You know, easy stuff.
But the first step to making any of this a reality is to GET. ORGANISED.
And people are turning to bullet journals to try and assemble some order in their busy lives.

And the best part? As long as you have a pen and a journal, you can do it.
What is a bullet journal?
It’s a simple listing approach that puts every task, event, goal, budget - literally everything you could ever need - into one notebook.
There are now so many different types and methods to model your own after, but the common theme is keeping text to a minimum and instead using symbols (aka different bullet points), graphs and columns, to communicate information at a glance.

The original bullet journal was invented by Ryder Carroll, a New York-based designer who calls his method an ‘analog system for the digital age’. He's even released a book detailing how to best make the method work for you.
Of course, once artists, calligraphers and creatives got their hands on his idea, it went from as minimalistic as possible to colourful headings, stylised borders and title pages.
If you want to jump on the bandwagon, a dotted grid journal can help to keep things neat.
Happy journaling!
