Since this game is about sharing, The creator of Cards for Conversation, Meg Carrie shares a personal story thats entrenched in why she created this game .
“In December 2016 my brother was hit and subsequently killed by a drunk driver, and as you can imagine, my life changed forever. I was surrounded by people who knew my story, yet I was drowning in a sea of "How you?", "How's work going?", "How's family?" – a set of mediocre questions that made me feel more alone than I’d ever felt. Cards for Conversation is my tragedy-turned- triumph moment. I knew I wasn’t the only one drowning in small-talk and so I set out to create something that could change that.”
