On Sunday, Cape Town and esteemed guests from across the continent were immersed into the world of Regency Britain to celebrate the launch of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
Taking place at the Quion Rock Estate in Stellenbosch, the spectacular backdrop was the perfect canvas for a colourful afternoon of royal treatment and period drama.
From the decor to the food, the entertainment and the fashion, every element was a sight to behold.
The theme ‘a high-society Bridgerton garden party with a hint of afro-chic’ set the tone for the royal dress code and the guests in attendance most certainly rose to the occasion.
The grand affair was encapsulated by a sea of flowing skirts, empire waists, corsets, lace, headpieces, puff sleeves, ornate fans, and delicate umbrellas.
Below are some of the most head-turning looks that caught our eye.
