We were in for a treat with Milan Fashion Week. This season was full of understated luxury, playfulness and experimentation from Diesel’s frayed and dyed denim to Bottega Veneta’s colourful fringing. Scroll through our best looks from Milan Fashion Week.
Gucci
Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection titled ‘Gucci Twinsburg’ was full of fantastical drama, glitz, playful silhouettes, tailoring and tiger stripes. For the collection Alessandro Michele poses the question, “What do you see? Do you see what it is?” With Gucci one thing is for sure you can always expect the unexpected.
Versace
Versace’s spring/summer 2023 collection was rebellious with edgy cutouts, fringed leather, neon, fuschia and purple, lace veils and chainmail.
Bottega Veneta
Fringe was a prominent trend in this collection ranging from orange, yellow to blue. Matthieu Blazy’s teal blue finale dress left us all thinking, is blue the new pink?
Diesel
This collection featured lots of denim from fringed and frayed denim to dyed denim.
Fendi
Pastels, florals and different shades of lime green are fresh for spring and the upcoming warmer season. This collection looked to the ‘90s with furry mules and cargo pants. Sheer was a prominent trend on the runway with various sheer slip dresses.
Prada
Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons' show focused on simplicity and showcased wrinkled looks paired with Mary Janes, making unironed clothing fashionable.
