Dolce & Gabbana’s SS25 Men’s collection is an homage to their Italian culture

Italy is a unique country of rare beauty.

The sea, the mountains, the cities, the historical richness of the places, the archaeology, the culture, the monuments, the tradition for food, art, architecture and the incredible craftsmanship and tailoring, which is still handed down from father to son. These are some of the many unique attributes of this country.

Since the 19th century, the Grand Tour was a journey that had Italy as its destination, thus becoming one of the most iconic places to visit for summer holidays.Capri with its Amalfi Coast, Portofino with the Ligurian Riviera, Venice with its Lido, became places of pure aesthetics.

The tailored cut of jackets, amphora trousers, linen shirts, stripes, polo shirts, sweaters, raffia and leather woven by skilful hands of craftsmen for shoes, overcoats and jackets, are artefacts of a pure Italian-ness.Even today, this aesthetic is for a sophisticated summer.

As a homage to Italy and his heritage, the looks for summer 2025 are handcrafted by skilled artisans and feature the "Handmade" label. The desire is to tell not only the Italian nature of clothing, but also the image of Italy through the eyes of foreigners: in fact, the aesthetics of the 1950s, Italy's golden period, prevail, which comes to life also thanks to references to the cinematography of the famous Italian actor Marcello Mastroianni.

COLORS: White, sand, brown, burgundy, green and Sicily black. Among the prints, stripes prevail - offered in various sizes - which echo the aesthetics of the 1950s.
