Kris Jenner is reportedly angry that Kim Kardashian West posed nude for free.
The 59-year-old television personality – who acts as Kim’s manager – is believed to be fuming that her 34-year-old daughter didn’t charge Paper magazine for the “flawless” shoot.
A source revealed to HollywoodLife.com: “[Kris] loves the photo shoot. Loves it. She think it’s fabulous. The shoot itself is flawless. Her problem is with Kim not making a dime off it. Kim should have been paid, period.”
The source went on to explain that after finding out the shoot was free, Kris confronted her daughter, reminding her of the “hard road” it took for them to reach the “status” they are at now.
She reportedly told Kim: “Do you remember what is was like before all this? When you were in Paris Hilton’s shadow? Or the hard road it took for us to be in this status we’re in? We’ve come a long way – remember that and always get the money.”
Meanwhile, last month, Kris gushed about the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star turning 34.
She posted an image on Instagram of Kim as a young girl, captioning it: “Happy Birthday to my precious daughter, best friend, and partner in crime. You are the best daughter, wife, and mother and you have the biggest heart. [sic]”
Meanwhile, Kim has revealed that she doesn’t believe she would exist without social media websites like Twitter and Instagram.
When asked if she would exist without social media, she said: “I don’t think so… I don’t think social media was that heavy when we started our show, but I think we really evolved with social media.”
Kim – who has starred in the reality television show since 2007 – also admitted that her love for social media comes from her love of sharing things. She told Paper magazine: “I love sharing my world with people. That’s just who I am.”
Kim – who has over 25 million followers on Twitter – also admitted that she is behind all her own tweets and questioned why other celebrities have teams who use Twitter on their behalf.
She added: “I’ve always just been open. I’ve been super-open with my life, and that’s just who I am, and that’s how my family is, too.”
The 34-year-old reality television star also revealed that her favourite area of social media is photo-sharing website, Instagram.
She said: “I’m loving Instagram. I think you can be really creative, and a little more intimate. It has more texture than just words, obviously. [I have] a three-image rule. In the same setting, I try not to do more than three. It oversaturates my feed.”
