There are so many layers to Kourtney Kardashian's latest Halloween costume.
On October 28, the pregnant reality star shared a series of photos dressed as her own sister, Kim Kardashian—specifically, Kim Kardashian circa 2013. In the photos, Kourt brilliantly recreated Kim's most memorable Met Gala ensemble, seemingly wearing the exact Givenchy glove gown and heels that the Skims mogul wore while pregnant with her first child, North West.
Kourtney, of course, is currently pregnant with her fourth child, a son with husband Travis Barker. “Freaky Friday,” Kourtney Kardashian captioned her post, referencing the 2003 hit comedy starring Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis. However, there's more to the reference than just body switching.
In the film, the mother-daughter duo switch bodies after having a massive argument. Earlier this month, fans witnessed an emotional fight between Kourtney and Kim, who seem to have been feuding nonstop since Kourtney first accused Kim of “copying” her Portofino wedding by partnering with Dolce & Gabbana shortly after. (While the wedding took place in the summer of 2022, the feelings are apparently still fresh.)
“You stole my fucking wedding country and my wedding performer," Kim fired back during a July episode of The Kardashians, per People. "Andrea Bocelli is my favourite male singer of all time, but I’m copying her dolce vita lifestyle? Okay.”
Despite all the drama, Kim and Kourtney appear to be back on solid ground. After Kourtney had to miss her sister's recent 43rd birthday party, Kim gave her a shoutout on Instagram, writing, "Kourt, I’m jumping in bed with you next week for our bed rest picnic.”
Even so, fans of the reality stars are still having a field day with everything in Kourtney Kardashian's Instagram comments. “Stole her wedding country. Stole her Met Gala look. Iconic. Truly,” one commenter wrote.
