Trevor Noah tries to copy Italians who are singing from the balcony of their homes – as they’ve self quarantined due to the spread of COVID-19, but it did not go so well, as an angry New Yorker tells him to shut the F**K up.
Noah was attempting to follow the lead of quarantined people in Italy who have been flocking to their balconies to make music together and pass the time.
According to Mashable, the high-spirited Noah did not manage to a create heart-warming moment like they’ve been having in the hardest Italy.
Italy is currently on total lockdown in an attempt to slow down new infections of the respiratory diseases COVID-19.
To foster a sense of community, residents started singing, dancing and playing instruments out on their balconies.
Inspired by this latest trend, the South African comedian went out on his balcony and started to sing “A Whole New World" from Aladdin, Disney's 1992 animated movie. But, before he could finish a man was heard shouting furiously screaming, "SHUT THE FUCK UP!"
A discouraged Noah walked back inside and tweeted, "Nothing can break the human spirit. Except that guy.
That kinda hurt." Though it's unclear if the video was real or staged, there's no denying it has extremely believable New York Energy.
