Everyone from Michelle Obama, Alicia Keys, Quincy Jones, Pearl Thusi, Ava DuVernay to us here at GLAMOUR HQ tuned in early this morning to watch the Jill Scott and Erykah Badu’s Instagram Live battle. To say it was epic would be right. That word and more can be used to describe the show LIVE that had over half a million people watching. The two queens had a jam session and opened up about their careers as well as took us through their songs and how they wrote them. The live lasted 3 hours and people stayed on right till the end.
The two stars spoke so highly of each other and it was so genuine. We STAN Queens who uplift each other. They played all of our favorites and we would be lying if we say we didn't shed a tear or two thinking of what those songs mean to us, and where they took us. Michelle Obama also felt like we felt, she commented while watching the live saying; 'Thank you for sharing the love and the memories.' Michelle even tagged Barack in another comment.
