Get excited! Few events unite the great and good of the acting world like the Oscars, but alongside serving up some jaw-dropping outfits, the Oscars beauty looks have given us some of the most iconic glam moments of all time. Who can forget Audrey Hepburn's 1954 choppy fringe, Halle Berry's sexy 2002 pixie crop, or Zendaya's waist-length locs in 2015.
Since it's the most prestigious red carpet event on the film calendar, we're expecting the A-list attendees to go glitz when it comes to their hair and makeup. And, if the best beauty looks from the Golden Globes and SAG Awards are anything to go by, bobs are back (courtesy of Jenna Ortega, Angela Bassett and Zendaya) and pastel eyeshadow is in (from white and pale pink, to lilac).
This year, graphic updos led the pack with Halle Bailey and Ashley Graham both rocking intricate braided buns, and Black Panther's Danai Gurira pulling off the most incredible, gravity-defying vertical updo. Rihanna gave us a cute spiky top knot, Florence Pugh served up a reverse ponytail, and sleek chignons were everywhere.
Fellow nominee, Angela Bassett co-ordinated a tonal lilac eye and lip look with her regal violet gown. Meanwhile, Florence Pugh gave us a modern Audrey look with a cute, cropped fringe and her signature straight, groomed brows, but remixed it with a reverse ponytail.
