Serena Williams shows off her new wedding ring and it’s HUGE

Serena Williams has finally given us a glimpse of her wedding ring, and it’s stunning! The tennis star posted a cute Instagram picture of her baby daughter Alexis, but it was the bling on her left hand that attracted most of the attention.

Serena said “I do” in front of a whole host of celebrities at the Contemporary Arts Centre in New Orleans last Thursday. We had a first look at her stunning gown, through US Vogue‘s Instagram. She chose Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen and safe to say, she looked beautiful.

Yesterday, Serena gushed about her big day on Instagram. She revealed US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour had assisted her with finding the perfect dress, which made her feel like ‘a princess and superwoman all at once’.

For the first dress When Anna Wintour asked me what I wanted to wear I said “a cape, I just want to wear a cape” she said: “well Sarah Burton with @alexandermcqueen is the one for you.” Thanks Anna. Thanks Sarah. I felt like a princess and superwoman all at once. 📸: @mistadubb @ericamelissa_

The tennis champion tied the knot with Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian in the company of numerous A-listers, with sources telling People that there were around 250 guests.

The star-studded guest list included Anna Wintour, Kim Kardashian, Beyonce, Eva Longoria, and Kelly Rowland. An unnamed source told the Daily Mail that the whole wedding was themed around Beauty and the Beast, and guests were greeted with Be Our Guest at the drinks reception. Do we believe that? Surely Serena is way too cool for Chip and co. But y’know what, it’s a good narrative so let’s go along with it.

US Vogue were given exclusive rights to photograph the wedding, and we can’t wait to see more photos.
